Here's a word I like: butterfly. It sounds quite nice as it is but if you switch the initial sounds you get 'flutter-by'. -- LUHE
How about the French equivalent for butterfly: papillon
greetings, fellow lexophiles:.
last night, i watched a cool road movie, the trip, with steve coogan and rob brydon.
they were counseled by steve's dad to take an "anticlockwise" route home, rather than the clockwise one steve had proposed.

"in 1975, knorr made a remarkable and candid statement to the governing body, which confirmed his growing disillusionment until his death two years later: ["]'"there are some things i know --- i know that jehovah is god, that christ jesus is his son, that he gave his life as a ransom for us, that there is a resurrection.
Thanks, smiddy and Bobcat, for posting . . . and you're welcome, too!

i get the spiral of death for 2 days now.
I re-sized my picture files (made them smaller) and didn't have any trouble posting them -- OrphanCrow
Likewise. I go to Microsoft Office Picture Manager and resize, then save to pictures. I was surprised when I found that I could right click on most any image, copy, and immediately paste to this and other sites, thereby avoiding the steps outlined above.

Edited to add: Yes, nowwhat, re: spiral of death. I would just give up, leaving the page, and find my image showing up a few days later.
my wife was looking through some old diary`s that we have lying around and found a ph.# of an old friend (jw) that we knew over 15 years ago .we were always curious as to what has happened to her as she was a dear friend for many years when we were in the "truth".
so she rings the number (,do you still have the same # that you had 15 yrs ago ?
) and this friend was a bit of a "gypsy" type so she wasn`t expecting much when she rang.. to cut a long story short we all had a good conversation we had been trying to find out about her all these years with no success and she was also trying to find out about us all these years with no success ,we had moved interstate.. nothing was said about religion though i suspect she is still associated with the borg.
So I bite my tongue and keep my mouth shut.-- smiddy
Thanks for the update, smiddy. That's right, some just don't care and are happy to be reunited. Interesting how we have so many other things to discuss. I never would have believed life w/o religion would be possible, yet here we are in our new lives!
Best wishes to you and mrs. smiddy.

You mean the blocks, plural, are called LEGO? Like we wouldn't say sheeps? I would never have thought, yet I have always wondered why "you" say maths!

was the Aid book Ray Franz's work? -- LV101
I believe so, along with Charlie Ploeger and others. Ed Dunlap wrote Commentary on the Book of James. So sad and wrong what happened to such dedicated brothers.
